NSS payroll not on Controller and Accountant General's Department system - Grace Adzroe

The Controller and Accountant General, Madam Grace Adzroe, has explained that the payroll of National Service Personnel is not on the system of the Controller and Accountant General's Department.

She said with the development at the NSS, the next batch of personnel will be migrated onto the payroll system of the Department to check all anomalies.

Madam Adzroe who was addressing the media on the payroll system added that the current personnel will from next month be paid through the e-zwich system by the NSS.

Meanwhile, the Acting Executive Director of the National Service Scheme, Dr Kpessah Whyte has urged all regional, and district directors as well as user agencies to monitor service personel at post to ensure that the right people are paid their allowances.

Speaking on the issue of ghost names, Dr Kpessah Whyte said reforms have been put in place to rid them of the pay roll of the service.
