Leaders gathering at World Economic Forum in Switzerland


World leaders are gathering in Davos, Switzerland to discuss global economic challenges with the private sector and civil society.

The annual World Economic Forum, which begins on Wednesday, is focusing on the theme "the new global context".

Issues discussed will reportedly include the future of the economy, social inclusion, and trust as a leadership responsibility.

The UN Secretary-General will be in attendance on Thursday and will meet with leaders from both the public and private sectors.

Ban Ki-moon is expected to participate in sessions on tackling climate change and global food security.
