EC to use biometric verification machines in Upcoming District Level Elections

The Electoral Commission says it will use the Biometric Verification Device, BVD for the upcoming District Level Elections slated for March this year. 

According to the Commission, the devices were upgraded after they were used in the last general elections. 

It says each polling station will be given two devices on the Election Day. 

The EC Commissioner in charge of Upper West Region, Hajia Sadata Maida disclosed this during a training workshop for journalists at Wa.
