BNI investigates some Staff of Tema Medical Stores More than 30 workers of the burnt Central Medical Stores in Tema have been interrogated by officials of the Bureau of National Investigations (BNI). SO far, 14 senior officers, seven middle-level officers and 12 casual workers have been questioned. Many more are in line to be investigated as part of efforts to gather leads on how the fire started. A source at the BNI says the initial interrogation is to help establish if there were criminal intent behind the fire. The outcome of the initial interrogation, would determine the direction of investigation. The Central Medical Stores was gutted by fire last week in which 273 million cedis worth of drugs were burnt.
