Kotoko's title defence suffers opening defeat

Asante Kotoko lost their first Premier League game as they kicked off their title defence in Dormaa where they were defeated 1-0 by Aduana Stars.

The Champions were undone just after 11 minutes when Richard Arhin scored the first and only goal of the game to hand the home side all three points.

Aduana, who survived relegation, will be boosted by this massive win as they prepare for their midweek clash with New Edubiase.

Kotoko will however turn their focus on their game against Hasaacas on Wednesday in Kumasi.
