Kumasi Central Market suffers another fire outbreak A part of the Kumasi Central Market was destroyed by fire yesterday. The fire, which is said to have started around 5:30pm, gutted two shops and a three-storey building, where there was an MTN wholesale office as well as other shops. However personnel of the fire service moved swiftly to the market when they were called and managed to put out the fire. The cause of the fire is not yet known. The Kumasi Central market has over the years recorded a number of fire cases with properties and goods worth thousands of cedis destroyed. GBC
