Religious leaders condemn violence in the name of religion The General Secretary of the Christian Council of Ghana, Rev. Dr. Opuni Frempong, says religious groups in Ghana must seriously deliberate on how to use religion to facilitate development rather than using it to destroy the nation. Commenting on the Charlie Hebdo incident Rev. Dr. Opuni Frempong said religion is a sensitive issue therefore the media must adopt sensitive ways of dealing with matters of faith to avoid any destruction or misunderstanding.
