Spain expresses gratitude to Ghana for support  

The Spanish government has expressed gratitude to the government and people of Ghana for supporting her election to the UN Security Council.

Her government has therefore pledged to use her position to advance the cause of Africa.

The Spanish Ambassador to Ghana, Maria Alonso delivered her country's gratitude to the Vice President, Kwesi Amissah-Arthur at the Flagstaff House in Accra.

Mr Amissah-Arthur applauded Spain for her role in Ghana's economy and the positive benefits accruing to the country.
