Citrus farmers educated on farm management and harvesting procedures

Series of workshops have started on farm management and harvesting and capacity building for citrus farmers in the Ashanti, Eastern and Central Regions.

It is to help them acquire new technologies and equip farmers to better understand the production of citrus fruit.

Speaking to Radio Ghana, the lead facilitator of Real Deeds, Selorm Akaba, said the programme is sponsored by 2-scale to educate farmers on disease identification, control of diseases and best harvesting procedures.
