Two Police officers arrested for escorting Indian hemp

The Volta Regional Police PRO, DSP Nicholas Asiamah Yeboah, has confirmed the arrest of two Police officers who were escorting a Police vehicle with Indian hemp on board.

Speaking to Radio Ghana, DSP Asiamah Yeboah said the arrest was based on a tip-off from neighbours and the patrol teams were ordered to effect the arrest.

DSP Asiamah Yeboah explained that the two were arrested with a Nigerian adding that investigations are ongoing.
