Metro Mass Transit denies increase in transport fares

The Managing Director of Metro Mass Transit, Noble Appiah has denied reports that it has increased its transport fares.  

He said on the average, fares have always been 20 percent lower. 

Mr. Appiah was reacting to allegations that Metro Mass in Salaga in the Northern Region has increased its fares.  

He noted that for over a year now Metro Mass has not increased its fares.  

Speaking on UNIIQ Breakfast Drive, Mr Appiah said the allegations will be investigated.
