Minority NPP caucus demand investigations into expenditure of refurbished Kumasi Airport


The Minority Leader Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu says the NPP caucus in Parliament will push for an investigation into the expenditure of the refurbishment of the Kumasi Airport. 

He says the figure being put forward as the cost for the works is too high and so parliament will have to look into it.  

The first phase of the Kumasi Airport Development project was jointly commissioned by President John Mahama and the Asantehene, Otumfuor Osei Tutu last month. 

Mr. Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu said the 29 million Ghana cedis quoted as being used for the reconstruction must be accounted for. He said this at a news conference in Accra.
