African Chefs to meet in Ghana for food competition

African chefs will meet in Ghana next month for a food competition which will showcase and promote the use of local cuisine in top hotels and restaurants. 

The chefs would also select and honour a statesman who has shown interest in the promotion of local dishes in Ghana. 

The General Secretary of Ghana Chefs Association, Nutepe Kartey-Attipoe, made this known in an interview with Radio Ghana. 

He said Ghana has a lot of recipes and these must be tapped for national development.

Mr Kartey-Attipoe also shared his experience in the hospitality industry.
