DG of Police Operations gives assurance that measures are in place to protect personnel during operations

The Director General of Police Operations, COP John Kudalor, has given assurance that the service has enough measures in place to protect its personnel whenever they go on operations.

Speaking to Radio Ghana in the wake of recent fire exchange between some suspected armed robbers and the police which led to the death of one police officer, COP Kudalor indicated that the personnel are always given protective apparel such as bullet proof vests and helmets before they embark on such operations.

He noted that, the police officer was shot probably at the groin where the bullet proof could not cover.
