Court adjourns KKD case to January 22 as it waits AGs advice The Kaneshie District Court is waiting for the Attorney General's advice to proceed with the committal process against celebrated broadcaster Kwasi Kyei Darkwah who has been accused of raping a 19 year old girl. The court has therefore adjourned to the 22nd of this month. When the case was called on Thursday, at the District Court, the defence team led by Tony Forson asked the prosecution for advice pending the outcome of the bail application at the Human Rights Court in Accra. KKD has filed the application at the High Court in a bid to secure his bail but the court adjourned hearing to next Tuesday to allow the state to respond to the application. The prosecutor, ACP Moses Atinbilla told the court presided by Mrs Adwoa Akyaama Ofosu that the docket has already been forwarded to the AG's office. KKD was in his usual pleasant composure and was again shielded from the cameras of the media by his lawyers, the police and some sympathisers He was whisked away by a private vehicle. GBC
