Government to ensure constant supply of crude to TOR

A Communication expert at the Ministry of energy, Edward Bawa, says government will ensure Tema Oil Refinery, TOR, get constant supply of crude oil to refine. 

In this vein, government is working closely with the Board of TOR to make the commodity available for refinery. 

Speaking to Radio Ghana, Mr Bawa said TOR is a critical National asset therefore they will ensure that they will have crude to refine.

Meanwhile, Deputy Ranking Member of the Parliamentary Select Committee on Mines and Energy, Dr Robert Moseri Duameni, says it is welcoming to know that Tema Oil Refinery has resumed operation.

He said what the board needs to do now is to ensure that the Refinery operates at maximum capacity. 

Speaking on Radio Ghana, Dr Duameni said the Board must ensure that the plant undergoes periodical maintenance.
