Accra: Increment In Sale Of Stationery 

Schools have started re-opening and parents are working around the clock to buy every item needed including books for their wards. However, the drive to help these children to climb up the educational ladder is facing some difficulty, due to the hike in the prices of text books, exercise books and other learning materials. On the other hand, vendors of educational materials at Makola in Accra, say sales have gone down. They are therefore calling on the ministry of education to fast track the tax exemption on input for text books and exercise books as proposed in the 2015 budget.
