Hearing on bail filed by KKD adjourned The Human Rights Court has adjourned hearing on a bail application filed by the embattled broadcaster Kwasi Kyei Darkwa. The case was adjourned because the Acting Director of public Prosecution, Cynthia Lamptey, said they received a copy of the affidavit around 4 pm yesterday and therefore could not study and respond to it accordingly. The two sides agreed on an adjournment to next Tuesday. KKD is seeking for bail at the High Court pending trial and has therefore submitted a CCTV footage of what purportedly transpired between him and the 19 year old girl alleged rape victim to the Human Rights court in a bid to convince the court that what transpired between him and the lady in the washroom at a hotel in Accra was consensual and not rape has been alleged by the victim. KKD is currently on remand following his first appearance before the Kaneshie Magistrate Court. GBC
