DVLA lauds private sector support The Chief Executive Officer of the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority, Rudolph Beckley, has commended the private sector for showing keen interest in partnering the Authority to ensure safety on the roads. Mr. Beckley said the Authority is supporting investors in all the Regional capitals to set up private vehicle inspection centres to support some of the operations of the Authority. Speaking to Radio Ghana after inspecting the first ultra modern SKED vehicle Licensing centre at Zenu in the Eastern Region, Mr. Beckley said the facility has been inspected and certified as world class. On the use of mobile phones while driving, Mr. Beckley said the police have been mandated to arrest and prosecute those who violate the law on the use of phones while driving. GBC
