Stop Light Fishing, Nii Kai Okaishie appeals to government

Curbing light fishing along the coast has always been a challenge to authorities in the country.

It is in this vein that the Chief fisherman of James Town and a member of the Ghana National Canoe Fishermen Association, Nii Kai Okaishie has appealed to government to empower the marine Police to arrest those who practice light fishing along the shores.

Nii Okaishie expressed this view when Radio Ghana visited James Town Light House beach in Accra to see things for themselves.
