Western Region records decrease in fires.

The Western Region recorded 247 fire cases in 2014 as against 385 in in 2013. This shows a decrease of 37 percent. 

Assistant Divisional Officer, Ebenezer Sam attributed this to intensive public education and the availability of  resources, both human and logistics.
