SSNIT monthly pension allowance increased by 15 percent


The Social Security and National Insurance Trust, SSNIT has increased the monthly pension allowance by 15 percent. Corporate Affairs Manager, Ms Evangeline Amegashie, said the increment takes effect from this month. 

In an interview with Radio Ghana, Ms Amegashie said the minimum monthly pension for fresh pensioners is now 230 Ghana cedis while all monthly pensions as at 31st December 2014 will be increased
by a fixed rate.
