Monthly SSNIT Pension allowance increased by fifteen percent

The Social Security and National Insurance Trust, SSNIT has increased the monthly pension allowance by 15 percent.

Corporate Affairs Manager, Evangeline Amegashie, said the increment takes effect from this month.

In an interview with Radio Ghana, Ms Amegashie said the minimum monthly pension for fresh pensioners is now GH¢ 230.00 while all monthly pensions as at 31st December 2014 will be increased by a fixed rate.
