London Court To Decide Nayele's Fate Today The Ghanaian woman busted in the UK for carrying 12.5kg of cocaine to that country, Ruby Appiah, alias Nayele Ametefeh will re-appear before the Crown Court at Isleworth in the UK today. The case was adjourned in November last year after she pleaded guilty to all charges leveled against her. Nayele’s arrest and subsequent trial have generated huge controversy in Ghana. Twelve people are standing trial in Ghana in connection with the case. The Narcotics Control Board, NACOB, has also come under intense criticism for failing to prevent the drugs from leaving the country even though it claims it collaborated with the British government on this bust. Reports indicate she managed to travel with the huge quantity of cocaine through the VIP lounge at the Kotoka International Airport. GBC
