Sanitation Day to be rotated nationwide for purpose of creating awareness of the programme The focus of this month's sanitation day, which falls tomorrow, has been shifted to Kumasi, the Ashanti Regional Capital. The Deputy Minister of Local Government and Rural Development, Emmanuel Kojo Agyekum, said though it is nationwide, the concentration will be on Kumasi. He said the exercise will be rotated to involve all the ten regions for the purpose of creating awareness and pressing home the seriousness government attaches to the programme. Mr Agyekum said as part of preparations towards the day, more than ten thousand cedis worth of dustbins will be donated to the Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu.
