Restructure activities in agri sector to increase productivity - Philip Abayori


The President of National Farmers and Fishermen Award Winners Association, Philip Abayori has called for a restructuring of activities in the agricultural sector in order to increase productivity.

He said government must take a second look at the way it intervenes in the sector while small holder farmers also apply technology in their field.

Mr Abayori observed that small holder farmers are very critical because they cultivate almost one million hectares for which reason government must be interested in their operation.
