Tema: Two Forex Bureau Robbers Killed In Police shootout

Two armed robbers died on Wednesday in a shootout with the Police at Tema Community 9. 

The robbers attacked a Forex Bureau at the Community 9 Meridian Zone in an attempt to rob them of their money.

Briefing the media in Tema, the Tema Regional Police Command, DCOP Beatrice Zakpaa Vib-Sanziri said the Police received a distress call that robbers had besieged the Bureau trying to break their money safe.

She said the Police went to the scene and engaged the robbers in a shoot-out which resulted in the injury of two civilians.
