AG and Parliament urged to speed up passage of RTI Bill Twenty-five bodies including the Ghana Bar Association, Polytechnic Teachers Association and the Ghana Medical Association, have urged the Attorney-General and Parliament, to speed up the passage of the Right to Information Bill into law. The group in a communiqué said the Attorney General and Minister for Justice should expedite the drafting of the relevant amendments to the Bill and ensure the amendments faithfully capture the deliberations and decisions of the Select Committee. The communiqué was issued at a workshop in Accra. Participants deliberated on the topic; An Effective RTI Legislation, a Necessary Tool for development, was organised by the Coalition on the RTI, Ghana. GBC
