The Daily Graphic calls on chiefs, kingmakers and family heads to take immediate and urgent steps to ensure peaceful resolution of land disputes. It says the numerous chieftaincy and land disputes in the country have the potential to disrupt the peace and stability of society. 

The Ghanaian Times is worried over job losses in the printing and timber industries. It says the two industries support the economy in many ways and calls for swift action to rejuvenate them. It says apart from creating jobs for the people, they also generate revenue for the state. The paper believes an effective implementation of the textbook development and distribution policy as well as a National Industrial Timber Plantation Policy could be put in place to bring these two important industries back to life. 

The Today Newspaper supports the call on government by the Ghana Medical Association to put in place pragmatic measures to halt the spread of Cholera. The paper urges government to publish the detailed programme to inform the public on its intention to help in eradicating the disease. It also calls on NHIS to ensure uninterrupted delivery of services to clients. It says it is equally the need for public health units of the health facilities to run education campaigns in the communities to stop the spread of the disease.
