POLWA Lauds Police Administration For Group Recognition And Acceptance 

The Police Wives Association, POLWA has lauded the Police Administration for its recognition of the group and its acceptance into the welfare unit of the service.

The move the Association noted will help address challenges facing it in its operations.

The President of POLWA, Mrs Janet Alhassan made the statement at a prayer and health exposure programme to sensitise members to the dangers of preventable diseases especially Cholera and Ebola.

Mrs Alhassan also lauded her predecessor Mrs Regina Quaye for initiating the prayer session adding that through her ingenuity a state of the art delivery bed has been donated to the Police Hospital.

Mrs Alhassan said the Association has come far since there is now an effective collaboration between sister Organisations such as Police Ladies, Prisons, Fire and Immigration service Associations.
