Regional Ministers call for Dialog in Promoting Industrial Peace and Harmony The third Regional Ministers Conference of the sixth government of the forth republic has ended with a call on labour unions to use dialogue to resolve their concerns to promote industrial peace and harmony. They also called for the strict enforcement on the production on possession of small arms to be enforced. These calls were contained in a communiqué issued at the end of three days conference of the Ministers at Wa in the Upper West Region. The conference also resolved to vigorously use what they term the Local Economic Development, LED and Public Private Partnership initiatives as vehicles for promoting rapid socio economic development at the regional and district levels. The conference has also agreed that all the necessary steps must to be taken to protect the environment, water bodies, forest reserves and the general eco-systems in the country. GBC
