Kpone Thermal Power Project to start full operations next year The Volta River Authority, VRA, says the Kpone Thermal Power Project, will start full commercial operations in January next year. The project which will cost about two hundred and twenty million dollars to complete will inject about two hundred and twenty megawatts of power into the national grid by the last quarter of this year. Addressing media on the progress of work at Tema, the Project Manager, Francis Agbenyo, said the move will help address the energy crises bedeviling the country. He tasked Ghanaians to use electricity assiduously to conserve energy. GBC
