Noguchi Memorial Institute challenged to incorporate traditional medicine into health system

The Dean of the University Of Ghana School Of Pharmacy, Professor Alexander Nyarko, has challenged the Noguchi Memorial Institute to come out with ways of effectively incorporating traditional medicine into the health system.

He said bridging the gap between traditional and orthodox medicine will enhance health service delivery in a cost effective manner.

Prof. Nyarko said this at a collaborative workshop between the Noguchi Memorial Institute for Research and Japan International Cooperation Agency, JICA, on medicinal plant.
