DVLA Surprised At GPRTU’s Position On Seatbelt Directive

The Chief Executive of DVLA, Rudolf Beckley, has expressed surprise at the stance of the GPRTU creating the impression that the introduction of seat belts in commercial vehicles is being imposed on members.

Mr Beckley told Radio Ghana that, the GPRTU leadership has been involved in the planning and discussion of the seat belt use, to ensure safety on the roads.

He said other preparations are going on to ensure that grievances of stakeholders are addressed.
