Ghanaians Urged To Conserve Energy The Ministry of Energy and Petroleum is appealing to Ghanaians to conserve energy and also resort to the use of energy efficient gadgets. The appeal comes at a time the country is losing 500 megawatts of electric power. In an interview with Radio Ghana, the Head of Communications of the Ministry, Edward Bawa, acknowledged the failure of N-gas, the supplier of gas to the West Africa Gas Pipeline Company to meet its agreed obligation to Ghana. He said in view of this, VRA is negotiating with other gas suppliers in Nigeria for the commodity. GBC
