GII expresses strong reservation on CHRAJ Commissioner accommodation expenditure 

The Executive Director of Ghana Integrity Initiative, (GII), Vitus Azeem has expressed strong reservations about expenditure on the accommodation of the CHRAJ Commissioner.

He said it is unfortunate CHRAJ, which should lead the way in Anti-Corruption issues is rather perpetuating the vice.

Speaking on Behind the News, Mr. Azeem said in future, an independent body should examine the house to see if it is habitable or not.

Also, the President should deviate from the norm of appointing officers for state institutions.

It should rather advertise vacant positions and appoint dedicated and committed people.
