Government Denies Endorsing Decision To Dismiss Kwesi Appiah

The Ghana Football Association, GFA, is yet to brief the Ministry of Youth and Sports on its latest decision to part ways with James Kwesi Appiah as Head Coach of the senior national football team, the Black stars. 

In an interview with Radio Ghana, the Minister, Mahama Ayariga said the government is prepared to support the technical bench of the Black Stars with the appointment of a Technical Advisor, following a discussion he had had with the players and a briefing from the FA. 

He therefore denied that the government has endorsed the decision by the FA to dismiss Kwesi Appiah.
