MCE Birim Central Municipality confirmed

The President's nominee as Chief Executive for Birim Central Municipality, Kwabena Nkansah Asare, has been confirmed by the Assembly members at a sitting presided over by Daniel Denjimah Adjei. 

He polled 100% votes cast by the 54 Assembly members. 

The Eastern Regional Minister, Antwi Boasiako Sekyere, expressed his gratitude to the Assembly members for a successful election. 

He entreated the members to bury their political differences and rally behind the MCE to bring development to the area. 

The MP for Akim Oda Constituency, William Quaitoo Agyapong, commended the new Municipal Chief Executive on his election and advised him to bring his expertise to bear on the development efforts of the area.
