5th September, 2014 The Ghanaian Times agrees with the Upper West Regional Minister, Alhaji Amidu Sulemana, that it is long overdue for the role of Girl Education Co-ordinators be defined. It believes the absence of the co-ordinator has contributed to the poor results being recorded at the girl education front. The paper therefore calls on the Ministry of Education and GES to come out with a specified job description for the Girl Education Co-ordinator to save them from further lazing around and get them to really work. The Times also urges all stakeholders to support the issue in full knowledge for its success to benefit the entire nation. GBC
