Twenty One Journalists Shortlisted To Be Honoured At 19th GJA Awards Twenty one people have been shortlisted for the 19th GJA Awards slated for Saturday. Out of the number, Graphic Communications group topped the list with seven nominations followed by GTV with five. The rest are Joy fm, Ghanaian Times, Daily Guide, TV Africa and Diamond Fm in Tamale. Four hundred and thirty- two entries were received and after two months of scrutiny the awards committee came out with 21 winners for 32 awards. Meanwhile, nine institutions have made donations towards the upcoming awards. The Institutions are Kosmos Energy, Plan Ghana, Stanbic Bank and Citi Lights. The others are Miracle Wares, Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development and Ghana Academy of Arts and Sciences. The institutions pledged to continue to support the Ghana Journalist Association in championing the cause of Journalists in the country. The President of the GJA, Roland Affail Monney expressed gratitude to the institutions for their donations. GBC
