Ebola Centre at Tema General Hospital 

The Ebola Centre at the Tema General Hospital is still at its initial stages. 

The contractor at the site is laying blocks for a tent to be erected. Speaking to Radio Ghana, the Administrator of the hospital, Theresa Sekoh, said the facility is expected to be completed within two weeks. 

The hospital is also in talks with the Tema Health Directorate to ensure that the best facility is put in place. 

The Tema Metropolitan Health Director, Dr. John Yabani said a consulting room or ward will be used in the interim should Tema have any patient with suspected symptoms of the disease.
