Senior High School Student Commits Suicide 

A student of St. John’s Senior High School, Ishmael Ayebi, has committed suicide by hanging in his father’s sitting room at Daboase in the Wassa East District. 

The body has been deposited at the Effia-Nkwanta Regional Hospital morgue for autopsy while Police investigations continue.  

Emmanuel Kofi Eyison of the Daboase Police Station confirmed the incident to the GNA.  

He said the father of the deceased, Ambrose Ayebi, went to the house at 12pm and saw his son hanging.  

The Police could not state exactly what made him commit the act since he did not leave any suicide note.
