Night of Tributes To Be Held In Memory of PV Obeng Today

A night of tributes will be held for the late P.V. Obeng at the New Central Auditorium, KNUST today. 

Mr Obeng who was the Chairman of the National Development Planning Commission died on the 17th of May at age 67. 

He was also a Senior Presidential Adviser, popularly known as P.V, he was the de facto Prime Minister in the PNDC era. 

He is a Mechanical Engineer and Chairman of the KNUST, Council. On Friday, the 15th of this month the body will be laid at the forecourt of the State House where a State funeral will be held. 

P.V. then will be in State at his family house in Akrokeri the next day and later buried at the Asare Bediako Park also in Akrokeri. 

A thanks giving service will be held on Sunday.
