UTAG Are Not On Strike.


The University Teachers Association of Ghana says the
postponement of the re-opening of schools for the new academic
year is not entirely about the strike on Book and research
Allowances.


the rescheduling of the re-opening was to enable
the University take precautionary measures against any threat of
Ebola.

Speaking to Radio Ghana, he said the University is taking
stringent measures to prevent any outbreak of the virus,
especially considering the arrival of foreign students.

He spoke to Agatha Asamoah For his part, the Head of Public Relations of the
University of Mines and Technology, UMAT, management is yet to decide whether to reschedule the re-opening
or not.
