President Mahama Chairs PACE Meeting Today President John Mahama is chairing a meeting of the Presidential Advisory Committee on the Economy (PACE). The Advisory body is among others working with government to evaluate its strategic policy decisions that need to be taken to support the targets and objectives of government’s homegrown programme as presented to parliament. Membership of the PACE include Vice President Kwesi Amissah-Arthur who chairs the Government Economic Management Team, Economist and Investment Consultant Kwame Pianim, Former Finance Minister, Professor Kwesi Botchwey and, Dompiahene of Akuapem and a former Deputy Governor of the Bank of Ghana, Nana Oye-Mansa Yeboaa. President Mahama has over the last few weeks mentioned his engagement with the Advisory Committee on the Economy, noting among others that they will also see to the implementation of the Senchi Consensus.
