Need to relocate Kasoa toll booth to protect Weija Dam urged

Municipal Assemblies along the Weija dam in the Greater Accra Region are calling for the relocation of the Kasoa toll booth and the Police station to protect the quality of water in the dam. 

According to them, human activity and encroachment along the Weija dam is greatly affecting the work of the Ghana Water Company which spends huge sums of money in treating the water for human consumption. 

The Municipal Assemblies think the relocation of the toll booths and Police station to Buduburam will protect the quality of water at Weija.
