Ebola outbreak Remains Out Of Control - Red Cross The Red Cross and Medecins Sans Frontieres have warned that the deadly Ebola outbreak in West Africa is not likely to be contained until at least the end of the year. They say the situation remains out of control. The Aid agencies say initial indications were that Ebola was declining in West Africa, however recent outbreaks in Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone show that the battle is not yet over. In Guinea for example four deaths have recently been reported and now villagers are refusing to allow in help. This is because they have been increasing superstitious that doctors themselves are bringing in the virus. The Aid agencies say there is the need for greater coordination and cooperation to deal with the problem before progress can be made. BBC
