NHIA suspends Adwoa Boatemaa Memorial Clinic In Accra National Health Insurance Authority NHIA has with effect from the 26th of this month, suspended the Adwoa Boatemaa Memorial Clinic in Mamprobi, Accra from providing services to NHIS subscribers for three months. The action is because the facility failed to meet minimum standards. The three month suspension followed scheduled clinical audits conducted at the facility by the NHIA which produced worrying results. A statement signed by the Communications Manager of the National Health Insurance Authority, Selorm Adonoo said the Clinical Audit is a routine assessment of NHIS accredited facilities to ensure strict adherence to standards. The public is therefore informed that the Adwoa Boatemaa Memorial Clinic as a result of the sanction will no longer provide services to NHIS card holders on account of the NHIS, until the Authority is satisfied that recommendations proffered are implemented as a prerequisite to lifting the suspension.
