Head of the Korle-Bu Polyclinic Says Ghana is Not Ready to Contain any Ebola outbreak The Head of the Korle-Bu Polyclinic, Dr. David Nortey, says Ghana is not ready to contain any Ebola outbreak. He says Ghana will suffer greatly if the virus strike as adequate measures are not in place to handle any outbreak. In an interview with Radio Ghana, Dr. Nortey said there must be an intensive public education on Ebola and its symptoms. Again key agencies like the Ghana Immigration Service must be resourced. Meanwhile, Ghana Immigration Service says it has provided some basic protective kits to its personnel at the borders. It says although it is ready to perform its duties, it is vital for government to provide the necessary support to the service to deliver on its mandate. The Public Relations Director of GIS, Palm Deti, suggested the creation of a national call centre, where all likely cases of the Ebola will be reported. GBC
