The Today Newspaper says it believes that if we emulate our forefathers and the kinds of lives they led, our politics will be done in an environment of decency, integrity and politeness. It says though it supports the campaign for political decency, it is expected especially of the leaders to show the way by setting an example for the rest to follow particularly, the youth who want to follow in their political  discourse. The paper says word by mouth is not enough to achieve the desired results as politicians are well noted for. The paper calls on President Dramani Mahama to punish any appointee of his administration who is found culpable of doing the opposite in the political terrain. This, the paper believes, will compel other politicians in different political parties to follow suit. 

The Business and Financial Times writes on the nationwide demonstration that was staged by Organised Labour to express its frustration with the prevailing high cost of living in the country. According to the paper, the demands of Organised Labour are genuine but the protest might be stretching their demands out of proportion. The paper says the Senchi report should guide economic emancipation. It says with a national action plan in the offing, all hurdles can be dealt with and with a sense of purpose, the country can overcome the present challenges to improve the economy.
